Levi Karter

Tom OIah: Why did you first get into porn?
Levi Karter: Watching porn when I was growing up, I always thought to myself, it’d
be so cool to be the guy on the screen instead of the guy watching. It wasn’t something
I took too seriously at the time. By 2013, I had been stripping all over Ohio and I had
the opportunity to start perusing porn and I found CockyBoys. [Laughs]

TO: How did you first get into porn?
LK: I met a really great friend. You might know him under the name, Christian Cullens.
He had just started and was also recruiting for a studio at which he worked and I expressed
my interest. From there, Christian, his boyfriend and I started brainstorming names and set
up my Twitter account. After that, I eventually had enough followers or attention.
@dwayneinSd referred me to Jake Jaxson. Next thing I know, I was having a Skype interview
with Jake himself!

TO: Who was your first scene partner?
LK: Jake Bass

TO: What was your first day on the set like?
LK: My first day on set was really nerve-racking [laughs]. We were shooting my solo. We
spent a lot of time taking photos and on the interview. I stretched, did some flips and talked
about an experience I had in the dressing room at a bar. I got through most of my solo, but
then I was having trouble cumming, and then Jake Bass came in and calmed me down and
worked me up [laughs].

TO: How did you come up with your porn name?
LK: I had my initials tattooed on my triceps, and I knew my stripper name (Jared Baker)
wouldn’t work in the porn industry (probably for multiple reasons). Christian Cullens’ boyfriend
was the one who blurted out “Levi Karter” after a few other names and I liked it.

TO: Do you watch a lot of porn?
LK: All the time if you count social media, but to jerk off, probably one time a day to it, two
times if I can’t get to sleep. I keep watching the same three scenes lately [laughs].

TO: Do you know if your friends watch your movies?
LK: Yeah, a group of my friends from home said that they watch them. It was hilarious finding
that out at the bar.

TO: What would you say is the biggest misconception people have about making porn?
LK: I think the biggest misconception is that we are constantly having or filming sex. I think
because most people have to work every day, that they must imagine that we would then film
sex everyday. The case is, I shoot a sex scene maybe one to two times a month. We still fill a
lot of b roll and that can take weeks, depending on the project.

TO: Have you ever had a chemistry problem with a scene partner?
LK: [Laughs] I don’t think so – not when I was filming at least.

TO: In the movie “Meeting Liam,”  you have a scene that is Grabby-nominated and is one of the
hottest scenes of the year. Is it hard to stay happy when you are filming a double penetration
scene with a crew watching?
LK: First of all, thank you. That was a very exhausting, but fun night. It was only Jake Jaxson
and RJ in the room, other than the performers. It wasn’t hard to stay happy because I was with
my favorite CockyBoys and we were laughing the whole time. I think the hardest part was to
stay hard – because we were so close. For me, it was hard to focus because I would start cracking
up at Liam’s one-liners, or Ricky spacing out, and RJ’s really funny too!

TO: You are in the new Cockyboys movie “One Erection.” What can you tell us about the movie?
LK: I am very excited for this project. I just want to say that we shot a lot of exciting, sexy and
funny things, and we have a lot more to do yet! I don’t want to give away anything, but I hope
you all enjoy it.

TO: Has working in porn impacted your sex life in your private life?
LK: It has made me be more aware and safe with my body and my health. I wasn’t that I was not
being responsible before, but I just noticed I am even more responsible about what I do and with
whom.

TO: What is the best part of working in porn?
LK: I think for me, it’s that I get to be myself, especially with my studio. I get to laugh and goof
off and be sexy. I have also grown in many ways, and share all these great experiences with a
brotherhood, kind of family, unit.

TO: Who is your dream sex partner that you still want to work with?
LK: Brent Everett – and now, Carter Dane.

TO: What can we look forward to be seeing you in this year?
LK: “The Stillest Hour,” “Meet The Morecocks” and “One Erection.”

TO: You will be in Chicago during Memorial weekend as a co-host for the Grabbys. Do you have
anything else planned for the weekend?
LK: Yeah. I will be at #CockyCon Friday and Saturday. We are also screening part of “The
Stillest Hour.”

TO: Best way to keep up with all things Levi Karter?
