Tom Olah:  How did you first get into porn?
Jesse Jackman: Back in 2011, I met Hunter Marx and Ethan Anders in Saugatuck, Michigan. The three of us
hooked up and had a really great time. I didn’t even know they were a porn star couple until Hunter mentioned
something in passing the next day. I remember thinking, 'Wow, what a fun life they must have. I wonder if I could
do it too.' Coincidentally, about two weeks later I ran into an old friend of mine, Roman Wright, who had worked
with TitanMen and other studios. I asked him if he thought I could be a porn star too. He said that while I probably
could do it, he actually advised me against it; he thought I wouldn’t like being in the public eye because of all the
criticism. In any case, Roman mentioned to Titan’s casting director that I’d been curious about the industry, and the
next day I got a call from the studio asking me if I wanted to work with them. I thought about it for several weeks,
and the more I considered it, the more it sounded like fun. I felt like I could handle the criticism, and I decided I had
nothing to lose by at least giving it a shot. And besides, if I never tried it, I’d never know what it was like. So I jumped
in…and I loved it. Still do! Although to this day I don’t read reviews of my scenes.
T.O:  Who was the first person you had sex with when a camera was involved?
J.J:  Several years ago I hooked up with a guy from out of town who asked me if he could film us while we were fucking.
The guy was hot and kind of mysterious,

and I was really turned on by the idea, so I went along with it. It was really fun, kind of like being an exhibitionist without
anyone watching. I never saw the guy again, and I have no idea what happened to the footage…maybe it’ll show up online
someday, who knows.

T.O:  Was the first person you had sex with a boy or a girl? How old were you?
J.J:  It was a man — my first boyfriend — when I was 22. We lasted about a year as a couple, and after our relationship
ended we stayed roommates (completely platonically) for seven more years until he started seriously dating someone and
moved out. We’re still friends today.

T.O:  Are you a boxer or brief kind of guy?
J.J:  Briefs. Makes things easier. If I wore boxers, I’d probably be hard all the time from all that flopping around. (Doesn’t
take much!)

T.O:  First day on a set filming your very first sex scene, what was it like?
J.J:  I loved it. My scene partner, coincidentally, was Hunter Marx — the very same guy I’d hooked up with in Saugatuck — so
I knew we had great chemistry. But the best part was when director Brian Mills, on first seeing my hard cock, described me as
having a “dick made for cocksucking.” See, the shape of my cock had been a major source of internalized embarrassment for
me (when it’s hard it has a dramatic downward bend, a condition called Peyronie’s disease). I used to be very nervous that
anyone seeing it for the first time would get really freaked out, or even laugh at me. With experience, though, I started to learn
that there’s a lot of unique things I can do with it, and some guys find it really hot. But when Brian said what he did in such a
perfectly matter-of-fact yet complimentary manner, perhaps for the first time in my life my penis felt like an asset instead of a
liability. And it felt pretty amazing to know that I could be successful in the industry, even if I’m shaped like a boomerang.

T.O:  How many movies have you made so far?
J.J:  Fourteen, all with TitanMen (the whole list is at, but I’ve filmed four more that haven’t
been released yet. One of those four, Foul Play, has me in a rugby-themed scene with my real-life husband Dirk Caber. Its release
is set to coincide with IML…in fact, by the time this issue of GRAB goes to print it may already be out!

T.O:  Do you have a fantasy porn star that you still want to get naked with?
J.J:  I know he’s retired from the industry, and I sort have already gotten naked with him in Incubus, but I’d love to roll around with
François Sagat. He’s insanely sexy and a sweetheart of a guy. We shot some B-roll for Incubus (we wrestled around in a swimming
pool and he jerked off after I’ve retrained him), but what I wouldn’t give to do more.

T.O:  Does your family know about your porn career?
J.J:  My mom does. She happened to see a bank statement of mine with “Adult Resource Management” on it (that’s Titan’s parent
company) and Googled it, which led her to Titan’s website…and I was on the front page. She didn’t understand at first, but once we
talked about it and she saw what a positive effect it’s had on my life (including how it led to me meeting Dirk) and she’s been very
supportive. I feel like I don’t have to hide anything anymore, so I talk to her about pretty much everything. We’ve gotten a lot closer
as a result.

T.O:  What did your friends say when you first started doing porn?
J.J:  Almost everyone was really supportive. They saw how excited I was about it, and thought it was a great move for me, one that
would boost my self-confidence. The only exceptions were two exes of mine. We’re still quite close, and both of them showed concern
that I’d be swept up by the industry; that it would somehow change me. I’ve managed to keep a pretty level head, though, and both of
them have since realized that it was a healthy and positive decision.

T.O:  What movies can we look forward to see you in this year?
J.J:  Foul Play is slated to be released just before Memorial Day; my hubby Dirk and I are in a rugby-themed fetish scene that focuses
on sports gear. Other than that, I’ve got a second scene with Dirk coming up, as well as two other scenes in which I top Titan exclusive
Jay Bentley and bottom for porn legend Josh West.

T.O:  You are going to be in Chicago hosting the Grabbys, so we have to ask, have you ever gone out with a fan?
J.J:  Not as such. I like to keep a respectful boundary between my porn life and my private life; I love chatting with my fans if I happen
to run into them, but I don’t really arrange to meet up with anyone. Although...when Dirk and I meet a fan who we’re both really into,
we might hook up with him, sure. It’s happened a few times.

T.O:  I also understand you are doing a show at Steamworks. Who are you performing with?
J.J:  Dirk and I will be returning to Steamworks on May 24, Saturday night at 1 am. It’ll be our third live show there together, and this
time we’ll be joined by our good friend Rogan Richards, who’s coming all the way from Sydney. Rogan and I co-starred in the Grabby-
nominated Titan film Dick Danger, and I gotta say it was some of the hottest sex I’ve ever had, on-screen or off. He’s such a stud. I can’t
wait to get plowed by him again.

T.O:  Best way for your fans to keep up with all things Jesse Jackman?
J.J:  I’m on Facebook all the time, so your best bet is to go to I also post regular articles to my blog, ,  and the cerebral-minded can read my Huffington Post blog at Yup, I
blog for HuffPost…and as far as I know I’m the only porn star — man or woman, gay or straight — who does that.
