Dallas Steele

Tom Olah: Before we get started, I have to ask you a question. Is the rumor true that you used to
work on TV?
Dallas Steele: It is true, and a very long story, one I intend to write a book about one day. The short
version is that when you reach the top in TV as the main anchor, you carry the entire station on your
shoulders. They live and die by the ratings. And you are only as good as your last show and the ratings
from it. After 23 years in the business, I was at a point where the stress was killing me and I was being
asked to stretch the truth and compromise my values as a journalist. TV news is a joke these days. No
one rushes home to watch the 5 p.m. news anymore. The pie of viewers is now just a tiny sliver of what
it once was. As a result, stations are resorting to sensationalism and selling products inside newscasts
to try and stay afloat. The last straw was in Fort Myers, Florida, when my boss called me in one day
to say the station’s focus group research found that people there just didn’t like me. I’m here today to
say that the management there can lick my ass because I now have more than 41,000 total followers on
social media, far more than any of their so-called “talent.” People do like me … they just prefer me
naked and with a hard dick. [Laughs]

TO: How did you first get into porn?
DS: After leaving TV, I continued to do personal training, something I’ve done for 10 years. I’ve always
loved sex, love men and love showing off, so porn was a natural selection for me. I went to the COLT
and Titan websites and applied. They both called me within two weeks. Simple as that, I get emails from
guys everyday asking me how to get into porn. Regardless of whether you think you have what it takes or
not, nothing is ever going to happen if you don’t apply.

TO: How did you pick your porn name?
DS: I believe in total interaction with fans is a great path to success. I ask friends, fans and followers about
virtually everything. So when it came to picking a name, I had close friends give me 10 suggestions. I took
those 10 and had a contest on Facebook. More than 1,200 people voted and “Dallas Steele” was the top
choice. I’m asked frequently if I’m worried about getting confused with Rocco Steele. The answer is absolutely
not. He’s a popular star and we both share one characteristic in common, so that’s bonus, not a problem.

TO: Was the first person you had sex with a male or a female?
DS: My first consensual sex was at 14 with a 16-year-old Italian water polo player at my high school. At 15,
I started having sex with girls and that continued until 25, when I fully identified as gay rather then just

TO: Are you a boxers or briefs type of guy?
DS: Briefs or a jock. What’s the point of boxers? They just let everything hang. My equipment needs some
support! [Laughs]

TO: What type of guy turns you on?
DS: Wow, what an expansive question. Where do I start? I like men who are fit, smart, confident, not full
of themselves and emotionally venerable enough to admit their weaknesses. I don’t care how hot your body
is, if you think you’re all that and brag about yourself, you’re not going to get anywhere with me. Some of
the best sex I’ve had as been with so-called “average men.” Most people would describe my boyfriends (yes,
two) DJ and Phillip as average, yet I find them extraordinary in many ways.

TO: Since you are coming to town to co-host the Grabbys, the men of Chicago want to know if you have
you ever slept with a fan?
DS: Whether it’s for fun or escorting, I would hope that any man I have sex with is a fan. I know that most
of my escorting clients know me from my movies. It’s my sincere hope that I measure up to what they expect,
based on what they’ve seen. My clients have been amazing men, not at all what society stereotypes them as.
They are generally wealthy, powerful and fairly attractive guys who know exactly what they want and don’t
want to deal with the bullshit of hook-up sites like Grindr or Scruff. They value professionalism. They know
hiring a professional means (or should mean) you are early to an appointment, you are incredibly well
scrubbed inside and out, you are sober and you are 100 percent focused on delivering your client’s fantasy.
We all know that porn doesn’t pay anything near what it once did, so having a regular job, or in my case, a
not so regular job, is essential to survival.
I loved my career in television news. It was exciting and an absolute rush. I have interviewed every living
President. With that said, escorting can be equally exciting in terms of the men you meet, their individual
stories and why they’re seeking your company. You learn a tremendous amount about psychology and the
human condition.

TO: What porn star do you still want to work with?
DS: The list is long, but being a TitanMen exclusive means my choices would have to be men Titan selects.
Those would include Luke Adams, Rogan Richards, David Anthony, Lorenzo Flex (new), Eric Nero, Eddy
CeeTee and many more.

TO: Do you watch a lot of porn yourself?
DS: Not really. With two boyfriends, escorting, social media promotions, porn, personal training, plus my
own workouts two hours per day, there isn’t enough time in the day for me to be sitting around JO’ing. I need
every second I can get. I was less busy when I had a full-time job.  When I do watch porn, I like having choices,
as long as I’m paying for the product and the hard work all of us performers put in. Pirated, stolen porn is wrong.

TO: Has working in porn impacted your sex life in your private life?
DS: Porn and escorting have most certainly reduced the amount of sex I have just for fun, Sometimes because
of time and other times, you’re simply worn out. The irony is that the number of offers you have certain goes
up tenfold, and while you’d like to enjoy all of those, there are lots of great things in life in addition to sex.
For me, especially over 40, life is about finding a balance, living a reasonable pace, and doing what I want to
do, when I want to do it.

TO: What has been the best thing about working in gay porn?
DS: That’s an easy one – getting to fuck amazingly hot men and get paid for it! [laughing]. While true, there
is a lot more to it. I’ve loved the adventure of getting to travel all over the country and especially the trip to
Spain for Men At Play. Every trip and every shoot is a new and exciting rush. You never know what’s going
to happen but you know you feel more alive than ever. Now as one of the TitanMen, I get to spend lots of time
in Palm Springs. It has always been one of my favorite places, so going there to shoot every few months is an
absolute treat.

TO: What movies can we look forward to see you in this year?
DS: May is going to be exciting. I’m shooting another project with TitanMen, and directed by the legendary Joe
Gage. I’ll be playing the same character I played in “Doomsday Bunker”
(www.raydragon.com) directed by Gage. TitanMen will also be releasing a leather movie in tradition of “Tom
of Finland” sometime in May for the Grabbys and IML. Beyond that, TitanMen has several exciting projects
in the works that I really can’t discuss just yet.

TO: Best way for your fans to keep up with all things Dallas Steele?
DS: Sometime this year, I will start a website, but for now, I focus on Facebook
(https://www.facebook.com/JimWalkerDallasSteele), Twitter (https://twitter.com/dallassteelexxx) and
Instagram (@DaddyDallasSteele).
